Naturalized Australian Citizen 20 March 1860.

Johann Georg was 24 when he married Magdalena Schliessmann.
He died of pneumonia at 70 years. NSW BMD 142272
He had been in Australia 28 years.
George and Magdalena later gave the land on which the Catholic Church of St John of the Cross
at Copmanhurst was erected, and it is also reputed that George was involved in its construction.
At death he left the greater part of his land to his sons Jacob and Joseph,
and to his granson Henry, son of Johann and Zipporah.

Magdalena was 24 when she married Georg.
She died of Chronic hepatitis at age 65 years. NSW Death # 142274
Magdalena had been in Australia 24 years.
